The Learning Development Team at the University of Plymouth (UoP) has been working with students at all levels and across disciplines for 10 years.

The team (introduced below) is led by John Hilsdon. Over the last five years he has helped to put UoP on the map nationally by securing a role

for the university in LearnHigher, which is a Centre for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL) and by becoming the founder editor of the Journal JLDHE.

"We are excited by the challenges of our work and have developed particular expertise in the areas of Critical Thinking and Reflection - both of which are crucially important skills for our students."

This Learning Conversation is a space for learners and teachers

to talk about learning. UoP students can also talk live to a LD advisor during Teacher Online times. These online tutorials are confidential and do not need to be booked - just sign in.
